Club Presentation Sat 24th November

  • 10/2007-SPONSOR CONFIRMED: 'Composites Reinforcements UK Limited' will be one of the official big corporate sponsors for the club next season we can now confirm.
  • The large successful company is actually owned by original K.S.F. player Richard 'RAMBO' Pettican who has kindly offered to sponsor the team he once played for.
  • The Logo will also be on the kit as of next season and more information about the company will be coming soon on the Sponsors page.
  • 10/2007-HIGH FLYER: BEN KNOCK #17 (#7) has finished the season in style by clinching the 10th place spot in the leagues top scorer's list for 2007.
  • An Impressive feet considering Kingston won only one game and Ben was in Canada for 2 fixtures! He totaled 15 goals, 7 in the last 2 games and 5 of which racked up in the last game against Shene.
  • 10/2007-FLYERS BACK TO FORM!: After 11 league loses in a row K.S.F. were ready just to put a close to the worst season on record for the club by far.
  • In addition a number of players were out with injuries and bans so you could say it was a sure bet K.S.F. would finish the season without a single point.
  • Thankfully and with alot of hard work the boys dug deep and ended the losing streak securing 2 points with a win against the Youngbloods.
  • The game finished 7-5 and both teams gave their best having only a few players.
  • 10/2007-END OF AN ERA: The long term K.S.F. treasurer Colin Moore will stepping down offically by the end of November and handing the books over to the Vipers management.
  • Colin has supported the team since around 1990 when both his boys Kevin and Darren played for the team. Even after they left he still kept the club alive by doing the accounts for nothing. It is fair to say that without his help it is unlikely K.S.F. would still be here.
  • All the players past and present would like to wish him all the best and are extremely grateful for all his hard work behind the scenes.
  • 10/2007-PRESENTATION: The newly merged club will be holding a presentation evening on the 24th November. Firstly a friendly will take place at 3pm in Nescot Sports Hall with the original K.S.F. playing the new K.S.F. Vipers Snr team.
  • Afterwards at around 4.30 in the Nescot bar area various awards will be handed out to players and age groups and the unveilling of the NEW KIT will take place. All are welcome so bring a friend.
  • 10/2007-ROCKET RETURNS: Rocket Ronnie Paul #49 is off the sick list and back in the lineup for the remainder of the season. In his first game back Ron notched up the first goal of the game against ASH. Well done Ronnie.
  • 10/2007-NEW PLAYER?: Not quite. Veteran Shane LYNCH will offically be changing his last name to CARROLL next season as he has had a tainted career with LYNCH so wants a fresh start at 30!
  • Just to confuse us all he will still have his old last name on his white kit. But dont worry fans Shane will be easy to spot as he will be staying with his trusted #10, which has been his K.S.F. number for an impressive 15 years next season!
  • 10/2007-LEWIS BACK IN NET: Lewis Sheppard White #37 is returning to the net for the final 2 games of the season. Lewis has been resting a serious back injury all year and in the last few weeks started training again. • 10/2007-ASH CLASH: The second league game against Ash again ended with the game having to be abandoned midway through the second peroid. Barry Skene #9 recieved a black card for roughing and #81 Laurence White recieved a red card also for roughing in a separeate incident in which an Ash player was also Black carded. A red card is an atomatic ejection from the game and a 2 match ban. A black card however requires a disiplinary before a ban is issued.
